Photobiomodulation and Fixed Orthodontics

Numerous strategies have been proposed to decrease orthodontic treatment time. Photobiomodulation (PBM) has previously been demonstrated to assist in this objective. The aim of this webinar is to review the science behind Photobiomodulation and fixed orthodontics to decrease pain, increase the rate of tooth alignment and reduce the treatment time. Wire sequencing will be reviewed, and clinical case illustrations will help you to understand what approach will allow you to achieve better patient results.

Dr. Alan Kwong Hing
Dr. Alan “Al” Kwong Hing graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (with distinction) from the University of Western Ontario. He received the University Gold Medal and completed a concurrent Master's Degree in Pathology. Dr. Al has earned multiple other degrees and received numerous awards. A serial entrepreneur he has had a diverse career as a solo dentist and owner of a large multi-dental group in Canada as well as in the UK and US. He has owned dental labs and specialized orthodontic labs, a dental models company and as well a company that manufactured orthodontic wires and accessories.
